01Reporting a bug
In the app: Settings → Report a bug… It opens Mail with the app version, iPad model and a short scene summary already filled in; describe what you did and what happened above the line. Turn on Attach my project if the problem is in a particular model - it is the fastest way to a fix.
No Mail account on the iPad? The report is copied to the clipboard - paste it into any email to office@serwusgamestudio.pl.
In TestFlight, take a screenshot, tap it, then Share → Share Beta Feedback. The screenshot and your comment arrive with the iPad model and iPadOS version.
02Getting started
- Academy - short game-like chapters inside the app: moving around, objects, modelling, modifiers, curves, UV, retopo, materials, export. Settings → Help → Academy.
- The ? button in the top bar shows every gesture and shortcut, at any time.
- No Apple Pencil? With Pencil mode off (Settings → Input) one finger works the tools and two fingers move the camera. A mouse or trackpad works too: click for tools, Alt + drag or the middle button for the camera.
03Purchases
Serwus3D is free to download and model in, without limits. Saving projects and exporting need the one-time full-version purchase - no subscription.
- New iPad or reinstall: Settings → Unlock the full version… → Restore purchase, signed in with the same Apple Account.
- Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
04Files and formats
- Open: Serwus3D projects (.serwus), FBX, STL, OBJ, GLB and glTF.
- Export: FBX for game engines and animation, STL in millimetres for 3D printing, OBJ with materials, GLB in metres, USDZ for AR Quick Look, and a turntable video.
- Presets for Unity, Unreal and 3D printing set the units and axes in one tap.
Projects live wherever you save them in the Files app. The app also keeps an automatic backup of the open scene and offers to recover it if something goes wrong.
